Winning Strategies: Pleasing The Customer

  • Teach employees to greet every customer with a smile whether in person or on the phone. Ask yourself: How would I greet someone I know and like? Then greet every customer that way.

 

  • Hire employees that love working with people. A rude employee can lose a valuable customer relationship that’s been built over years in one interaction.

 

  • Make sure employees follow through on promises to customers. Follow-through lets the customer know you’re trustworthy and professional.
